Recently joined up with the $59 free port offer. Impressed how quickly my first order and port were delivered (as well as the points). Only minor concern is with my local delivery guys - one of the boxes was in woeful shape when it arrived - luckily everything inside was well packed and not damaged.

Epiqure seems to be the scheme that keeps giving pleasant surprises. Yesterday I got a another year's membership ...

Because you've made a purchase with us in the last 12 months we're extending your Qantas epiQure membership for another year+. Your new membership expiry date is
31 Jul 2014.

is this usual and what the free renewals being mentioned are?

If anyone is looking to join epiQure for free, use the promo code STAFFJOIN which is valid until 30 June 2013. I just joined! Seems like I missed out on a recent sale though!

clearance sale still on - or use ADLWC15 for 15% off :)

Is it just me or is this great value:

Wines | Qantas epiQure

Given the free bottle pricing at its maker:

Wolf Blass - Purchase Our Wines

Definitely not just you - very good value indeed. Had already acquired a few bottles of the Yering Red in the Super Reds Value Dozen as part of the Sale (for the bonus points), and it is a rather good drop in its own right.

When combined with the ADLWC15 for 15% off, and comparing the price of the Wolf Blass, the 6 bottles of Yering red come almost for free. Have ordered two cases (after joining the other half up using STAFFJOIN), so first dozen bonus points as well.

If you do this you won't get the 3000 bonus points though.

Not for this order, and it is not possible anyway. The 3,000 bonus points are only for buying $300 or more of the "Sale" marked items. This deal is not one of the "Sale" items (although the value is arguably better). The Super Reds Value Dozen is part of the sale. A couple of weeks ago, I actually bought 4 of those (in 2 lots of 2 separate orders), so am expecting 6,000 bonus points eventually. Given that they were my first purchases, they also generated the 2,000 first dozen, and 8,000 fourth dozen bonus points, as well as the 2,736 for the actual purchase. Hopefully that will yield 18,736 for $912 spend, or over 20 points per dollar - pretty good earn rate!

Having used all the bonus, I joined my partner up for this one, to reap the 2,000 point first dozen bonus, along with the 795 points for the purchase.

I think I have enough red for a while now.....

You are right .. it's listed under "Everyday savings" at the bottom of the "Sale" email... hmmm

Does anyone know... Can you only use the 15% off coupon once?

I need to split an order and I'm hoping I can use it twice.

unfortunately not... just pcked up their billecart salmon pack at a ridiculous price and tried to buy another as a gift and send to a different address and got this msg:

"This coupon has already been redeemed on another transaction and is no longer valid."

Thanks for this. Just used to to get some Krug and other champagne at less than duty free prices (proof that duty free is a scam, rather than I got a huge bargain) :)

Duty free varies from country to country, but it is certainly bad value in Australian airports...

Hmm, out of three order/shipments made late last week:

1 box from 1 sent received ,
3 boxes from 5 sent received, one box stained with red wine on one side.
1 box from 3 sent received

Suspect we had a problem in transit, will be interesting to see how it pans out but thats Australia post for you.

You might have seen my small diatribe about AP higher up the thread. Don't dare ask AP where the missing boxes are - its none of your business.

I too got a red wine stained carton abt 3 weeks ago. Wish I still had it ... we could see if it was one particular wine affected.

Will ring Epiqure in a few days if need be, they are great at sorting out issues based on a past experience.

Just received this offer:

Wines | Qantas epiQure

Any chardonnay drinkers tried this and care to comment?

Whilst I already have a bottle of the Jacobs Creek from the festive dozen, another free one can't hurt!

IMHO it tastes like a sub $20 Chardonnay and I wouldn't rush to get a case of it, free bottle of Shiraz or not.
