But I did appreciate the free renewal. Damn, does that mean the bonus numbers re-set themselves (2nd and 4th cases) as well ?

P.S. Stuff it, ordered 3 cases anyway for $341 - just will have to have an AFF party to help me drink them all...

Well, if it was 3 cases of the same, and assuming LW is after the 3,000 bonus points for buying sale items, then 3 cases of Shadowdax Single Vineyard Gippsland Chardonnay @ &113.94 (case of 6) for $341.82.

Of course, he may have taken 1 case of the Shadowfax Chardonnay, 1 case of the Flametree Chardonnay 2011 and 1 case of either the Red Claw 2009 Chardonnay or the Willunga 100 Pinot Gris, for the same total.

using a discounted wish card that's $47.50 per bottle (plus a starthere cash back of $15.75 for a case if you are lucky)

Late to the party as usual - The Epiqure clearance offer is mildly tempting. I have slowly been warming up to John Duval (along with everyone else it appears ).

No, it's the three pack that's first, FWIW that pack with the Tawny seems poor value of you take the tawny out of the bundle given its on offer for $59 when you join.

Indeed. Got my complimentary yearly epiqure renewal last week and ordered $440 of the clearance wines over the weekend. Sadly, no mysterious 'bonus' points arrived (and haven't received the 3000 bonus points yet). A word of caution to others that the surprise bonus points enjoyed by princess Fiona and a couple of other 'renewal' epiqure members appears to have been nipped in the bud some point on Monday

Concur - they are very good at fixing errors as a few of use found out with free wine from the Christmas Dozen thanks to a sub we did not approve.

Are you sure it wasn't in the bottom, hidden by the packing 'peanuts' (soft foamy things)?

Mine came in a dozen carton, with cardboard dividers, and I took out the 1/2 dozen bottles. Couldn't see the port. Fished around in the packing a bit, no go. Thought as you did. Lifted the carton off the table - hang on, that feels heavy. Fished around in the soft packing some more and found the port bottle. Its not large!

I once didn't receive a magnum I ordered, due to Australia Post losing it. Epiqure re-shipped replacement bottle without a quibble.

That's what I would have bought had I not bought my sister QP membership. I'll be interested to hear what you think of the Pinot Gris.
