Qantas Wine latest offering

Vintage Cellars and they also have a triple points offer at present.. So it works out spend $169 and get a $25 bonus share..

Hmmm, think I must be missing something... I couldn't get the maths to give me anything anywhere near $50 per bottle... I got about $64 per bottle with triple points giving you 2x $25 bonus shares for 6 bottles @ $72 per bottle.

price paid less value of cellar share?

I placed my order yesterday ... and the points are already in. That's a great improvement.

I notice that it is now out pf stock but were they really selling Taittinger Brut Rosé Champagne NV for $13 a bottle

I'm assuming it was an error and they were actually quoting single bottle price and not a 6 pack. Still wondering if anyone managed to collect

sorry to create any confusion - they had a 6 bottle buy for $306 .. no cellar shares were harmed in the transaction .

Any comment on the latest Trevor Mast Tribute Dozen offer? We've been enjoying the Mt Langi Cliff Edge 2008 and are now down to our last bottle. Wondering if I should replenish with the 2010 vintage or go with this shiraz/riesling combo.

Finally got to open the Seppelt Moyston cases. The bottles were very dusty, looks like they were stuck with them for a while ;)

Yes opened a case last night and bottles were dusty as well. Did you try? the bottle I had last night didn't really impress so I will have to follow up and try another bottle tonight.

I like your attitude ;)
Was tempted to open one but I'm going for drinks with fellow AFFers in a couple of hours so better not show up too drunk :)

A 2005 Shiraz for 20 bucks a bottle from that area, I'm no expert but imo you can't loose and it also helps a good cause!

Opened my first bottle last night, & straight out of the bottle was a bit underwhelming for a $32 2007 Cab Sav. Needs a decant and/or time to breath, it then opened up quite nicely and enjoyed a few glasses.

Missed the Trevor Mast dozen (no stock by the time I looked - about midday Fri MEL time), have to now look to see if there are any of the other specials available.

Brilliant - thanks markis10, dozen ordered and 2,220 QFF + CC points are in the bag. Notice the old link has been taken down.

The Pinot Noir offer just isn't the same value ;)

Maybe not, but I think the Giant Steps Tarraford 2010 is outstanding, and Epiqure seems to be the only place you can get it. I did see they've got it back in stock by itself now - at Christmas you could only get it in the premium pack - I'd previously bought some and had a request for some for Christmas presents, so the mixed pinot pack it was. I'm tempted to stock up now though. Halliday's has it good through to 2018.
