I have just called back to finalise the closure of the card and something has occurred to me here.
- Called yesdterday afternoon for the annual fee refund. It was granted in full and I was told to call back once the $450 hits my account to organise the transfer to a bank account. Money was there this morning.
- I called back just then and still had the option on the phone to redeem the complimentary flight.
- I didn't think anything of it so proceeded to have the cash transferred to me.
Im wondering if it would be possible to have the annual fee refunded, then redeem the flight and then once redeemed have the $450 transferred to a bank account and finalise closure. Anyone want to volunteer to find out?
