I understand that you get a full year. So till Feb 2018.
My SG i got a few months back says till March 2018 on the card.

I can't find if this is explicitly stated or not, but do double SCs count toward the 2700 SC on QF flight numbers requirement for P1?

My 'real' SCs are posting really quickly at the moment, within 24 hours of the flights, and the DSCs posted within 48 hours.

Yes our double status credit flights are now all posted with Qantas. Actually we would do that again if offered as from Perth to New York we scored 1440 SCs. Add a quick AA run in first class and 3600 SCs would be easy.

Thanks. 1350 on QF flight numbers before DSC (plus 900 more) seems too good to be true for P1 :o

It does but I'm not aware of anyone who's P1 due to DSC.
That may change of course if someone decided to make a large amount of bookings during the promo period.

I didn't know that :)

One of them was me :D Had to do a couple of JASA MEL-SYD-ASP to gain last few hundred to get to P1. :D

Have to say would never do it again as didn't find P1 gave me any real benefits.

There was at least one AFF member who got P1 on the last big dsc offer.

I didn't know that :)

And yet you know (at least one of) the AFF'ers, i.e. me.

I got a DSC at the start of my membership year and having just left my job in CBR and returned to MEL I booked some JASAs as noted above, MEL-SYD-ASP x2, and MEL-SYD-AYQ x1.

Requalified WP a fortnight into my membership year. Did some other travel including some status runs in LOTFAP and then received another DSC.

I was close enough to P1 that another JASA was in order, MEL-PER-KTA secured the magic number of SCs.

I wasn't LTG at the time so it was all part of the long term goal. Basically a fortunate confluence of events that I fully utilised.

I knew there were JASA P1s back in the day but didn't know there were also JASA DSC one's
Those are impressive stats Hvr :D

I made ASA hay with the great HKG / A380 DSC promo of 2011-2012.
P1 in five months and finished the year with around 6000 SCs.
Slim pickings since then though.

My first P1 year was on the back of, but not solely, from DSC promo.

I probably got 1000 extra SC due to DSC.

the last 3 years have been without promos

next year DSC will aid significantly to retaining P1 again. (though I am not confirmed to make it again, but given I should earn 2400 in <3 months of my membership year it's fairly likely I'll retain)

I hit PG a couple of times thanks to the DSC promos in the past.. This one locked in WP for 21 months for me..

Got my Silver pack today :-) And waiting for my Gold pack to arrive within this week (i guess) since i hit Gold few days after Silver...

Nice. Glad you got your PS pack.

I have got the PS pack, SG pack and WP pack all for the first time this year. I won't get to P1 (and may never), but it's nice to move up the status ladder.
