Is there a common time of day where (D)SCs are likely to be posted? I can never figure out and as a result seem to check it far too often.
On the blower today with FF wanting to make sure that a purchased ticket in the promo period can be upgraded.
Yes it can and if upgraded with money you will get higher SC earn reflecting the new level. Of course the upgrade processing fee is still a disincentive I will wait see if they might change some aspect of the flight giving me a chance to do it without the fee.
I did just that - bought return economy sale tics for MEL-AKL which after DSC would have been 80 miserable SCs. A week after I bought them Q almost halved the J sale fare, so after confirming over the phone, I paid the difference, travelled late May and received the DSC within a few days. The DSC made the return trip 320 instead of 80 and well worth the $100 fee to change, particularly as my QFF anniversary month is June and I finished with exactly 700 SC...
Nice. Hopefully you will reach WP soon. You are getting so close. After much (needless) checking, they (finally) arrived sometime after noon, two days after the flights.

Hopefully not a silly question - I booked a Flex Y fare (DRW-PER) as an ASA during the promotion period. If I now need to change it to a couple of days earlier do I lose the DSC or will my original booking reference and DSC be retained?
Red Roo much earlier confirmed changes are fine and will not affect DSC offering. Basically anything that doesn't change the original PNR ()as in a cancel) will still get DSC, provided the travel is prior to 16 April, 2017.
Whenever QF run their DSC programs...so talk with their IT - actually, better not, you may not understand what they say.
My BNE/SYD/BNE flights have posted and the DSC from the Monday BNE/SYD posted 2 days later, so I'm expecting the SYD/BNE DSC to post today (or at worst tomorrow)

All Qantas operated and marketed flights including Qantas flights operated by Jetconnect, Airlink, Eastern Australia, Sunstate and Network Aviation booked on the QF code are definitely eligible for this offer. I appreciate that our webchat team have offered information to the contrary, and we’ve since sent a “friendly reminder” to all our Contact Centres using this example!
To answer some of your other questions:
- As long as you’ve made the original new booking between 28 April – 04 May 2016, date changes are permitted after this time for travel until 16 April 2017
- The offer and conditions are based on the booking creation date, so this may assist with queries about using existing vouchers, credits, rebooking
- While the handy calculator is useful for most Qantas destinations, it’s may not cover all eligible routes
Hope this helps to clarify.
Would the addition of a stop over to a booking still be eligible? (The date change part sounds like it will be fine)

Wondering if the PNR is retained if destination is changed?
Thanks. Read the fare rules & appears allowed - guess I'll just give it a go.That sounds like a reissue, which probably means a new PNR but I guess it depends on how it's done
