Quick question to those for whom who DSC have been posted . I did a flight today for which the booking was done in the promotion period, my 'normal' status credit have posted , is it normal for standard SC to be posted and then in future get amended or will there be a new line item in Detailed activity statement for DSC?
It will be in an additional line item. Probably in 2-3 days, maybe up to about a week. The T&Cs state it can take much longer but it shouldn't if my experience and many others here is anything to go by.

FWIW DSC's have been added onto my account 2 business days after the flight.
MEL-BNE-MOV flex return for 200sc in total. Not a bad run at all.

It's been said before: "Patience, young Grasshopper".

patience my ar*e, sometimes the T's & C's are obscure and if you are relying on the promised SC's to post in time (and they don't) , then you are down the drain on maybe a requal for whatever status yore seeking. It has been nearly 8 weeks since i did a series of flights that had the +50% promo, the first sector posted within days, the rest of the flights have yielded nothing, (so far)

Been there done that. Tell me something new. :p

Well once the period after the flights the T&Cs state the SCs may take to post elapses ring up and get it fixed. The bonus SCs would still count towards the count in the year the flights were flown.

Did my SYD-BNE-TSV-BNE-SYD run on Monday, and bonus SCs for 3 out of the 4 sectors posted today.

Expecting to see the bonus SCs for the final segment tomorrow, consistent with the points and standard SCs for that segment posting a day later than the other flights.

As others have experienced, they're posting quicker and quicker (about two days after seems to be the rolling average).

Thanks for the Double Status Credit... but Qantas don't seem to want to recognise them until they post... With my next flight I obtain Plat (With Double SC) however Qantas won't recognise them until they are posted... that means on my international flight a few days later I won't be able to use the First Lounge... response from Qantas ... its in the T&C's

I get that... they know they will post... they know I will get to Plat... but they can't do anything... cough service!

Well without the DSCs you wouldn't be getting to WP so soon or possibly at all.

I would like it if I could access the First Lounge before my outbound flight on the return trip that will get me to WP, but I know that's not possible.

Wouldn't be cheap, but could you book another flight to make sure you get over the line to WP before your international flight?

Not always quick. The return trip last Monday hasn't posted yet.

I agree, it sucks but thats how it works. Will hit WP after a trip back from NYC in August. Would love to sample the F Lounge on the way through LAX but i know thats not going to happen. Its great people are not having to wait 6 weeks for the points and as annoying as it is rules are rules. I keep asking ANZ if i can get my QC passes early so i can use them for my next trip. They keep saying I need to wait a few more weeks which will be too late for them to arrive for my trip.

I disagree. In black and white when you signed up to the QFF program. In black and white that they'll take up to 8 weeks for the bonus SC's to post.

QF get called out for cough service for many other things (telephone call centre delays etc), this is not an example of cough service at all.

Qantas are a great airline... fly them when ever I can... I just think some times big business gets stuck in the T&C's. When I phoned them they showed very little interest in my situation. Without the Double Status I would be just under, I was asking Qantas to consider this so it would allow me access to the First lounge... Didn't really think it was a huge ask... But Qantas handled the situation poorly and talked about T&Cs. I get they are the rules, but you hear of people being Comp'd Platinum when they don't reach the required Status Credits. Im actually going to reach the required number but they won't consider this case.

You can be told 'no' and walk away from a conversation feeling OK... In this case Qantas said 'no' and I walk away feeling angry. Thats the opportunity for Qantas... learn how to interact with your customer!
