I think so but double check the T&Cs. You need to register for the promo on Qantas.com whoever you book through.Do double status credits apply if booked through a third party such as flybuys travel
I seriously doubt that. Check the T&Cs. I think you’ll find that bonus SCs are specifically excluded from counting towards the 100 required. Also, would double status credits count towards the 100 required for the gold status fast track?

What do bonus Status Credits count towards?
Bonus Status Credits earned from this offer also count towards retaining or attaining your membership tier and the Qantas Status Fast Track earn requirement#.
Which Status Credits count towards the rollover?
Status credits earned through flying or with our partners on the ground will count towards the rollover. Status Credits provided by Qantas as a bonus, support or gift will not count towards the rollover.
You could book flights for your next membership year perhaps but only a limited number would want to book that far ahead.I'm not sure this is worth chasing for me with locked in WP until 2022 and LTG.
The only thing i could think of was the status rollover, but I think double status credits will be excluded from the rollover.

Pretty sure MEL-BNE won’t be a subsidised route. So would it be worth going for the DSC or waiting to book the half price flights on 1April?
also regarding the half price flights... which price will this be based on?
I want to fly to Mel/Brisbane in July and the return flight is $328 at the moment with DSC which I think is a good deal maybe I’ll book it? Any thoughts?
Brisbane and Melbourne aren't on the subsidised route list (well depends where you are coming from?) Only "regional" areas are on the list. There is a list somewhere that has all the airports that will be eligible. So go ahead and book it as it won't be 50% off.So would it be worth going for the DSC or waiting to book the half price flights on 1April?

I wonder why that is, wouldn't QF want the revenue no matter where the member resides? Doubtful I'll get back in the foreseeable future but with such a wide window for travel and unlimited date changes I'd have bought a couple of tickets hoping I might be able to use them and if not chalk it up to another covid loss. Not quite. Not open to NZers or other non Australian residents.

It will earn as ticketed, so Economy. When booking a J Award trip with connection, and one of the flight is tagged as "Your flight from X to Y will be in Economy", do you know if the SC earned (thanks to Points Club) for this section is calculated as J fare or Y fare?
Trying to rebook a bunch or trips here, busy morning
So I booked a flight to Norfolk Island today..... then I saw Double SC and registered. Then remembered the NLK flights depart international.... Who knows if I'll get the extra 50SC. Probably not that important, my status will get extended to July 2022 and any serious chance at retaining gold after that will require international flights to resume.
I asked Qantas on social media, and they confirmed that Norfolk Island counts as domestic for earning double status credits.
