What dates is this ?
I am checking Qantas website for AKL-MEL 10th Sept and I am getting 1300NZD.

Still the same
Tried booking via qantas.co.nz with incognito mode and NewZealand VPN and still the same 1320$ price.

As long as you search exNZ, the AU site will re-direct you to the NZ site. I've never had any issues finding these fares searching from the AU site (assuming that the fare is available).

Oh now that you said that, you're right.

I should have said that the main error people make is to book a two-way flight from Australia-NZ-Australia and you'll never get the sale price then. You have to book two separate tickets.

For those interested this looks to be back and Qantas is currently having an Australia Sale (East Coast) on the Qantas NZ website.

Economy One Way from NZ199, Business One way from NZ599, First one way from NZ899,

Travel dates as follows:

25 July - 31 Dec 2016

31 Jan - 30 April 2017

Sale ends in 2 days (presumably Friday 15th July)!

Used to be every 3 months or so if I recall correctly. Wonder if the loss of the EK 418/9 service between AKL and SYD has something to do with it (though that's only just taken effect)?

That's still pretty cool CaptJCool. How many SC is that? S'ok. I've had to check it out and dates I can do this. I can make it work. WP here we come again, 5 months early. (Although last time I tried doing this I developed a DVT and couldn't fly for months and had to cancel Alaska.)
