Its back on: Terms and conditions: Advertised fares are for sale until 28 May 2016 for dates into March next year.

Thanks, but I can't see any sale prices for 2017? I've looked for all of Jan to early March. Am I missing something? Am on the NZ site, looking for a 1 way ticket

I received the email earlier this morning and searched J from SYD to AKL for 3 March one way on EK and QF websites. EK was $598 and QF was $660 on EK metal.

The sale hasn't been extended to F

ah, thanks! I was only looking at F (but I was looking at the 3rd of March, spooky!)

Sadly only J sale yes - though still decent prices. May take advantage.

I presume the F sales are driven by EK, whereas J and Y are more joint decisions?

The F sale fares are back - booked a trip for Mrs Rugby and I last night. A shame the Kiwi dollar is giving the Aussie a bit of touch up at the moment, probably Bledisloe sentiment related. :) :(

Thanks. Looks like only AKL-SYD for the dates I am looking at.

thanks! How are you getting there?

Might hold out & hope they include Melb next time.... Decisions!!

Do you have to originate in AKL for these fares ?
Does having SYD/MEL as origin ever go on sale ?

I'm hoping that this fare can be my ticket for brekkie in the QF MEL or SYD F lounge....

Nizar - unfortunately I have never seen these F sale fares ex SYD/MEL. Typically ex AKL/CHC.

if I use the book now, pay later will that hold the sale fare? Or will it go up as soon as the sale is finished?

You would be given a date that full payment is due by. It is likely that you will have to pay the full amount by the end of the sale period. If you don't, you will lose the booking.
I looked at some fares to Asia - can book now and pay later, but the pay by date was this weekend so hardly worth it.

Thanks again everyone, have booked a NZ trip for our 10th wedding anniversary. This will be a special finish to it!
