Just a heads up, the QF mall now has Christmas bonus points on purchases through the mall. Most retailers are doing double points. eBay has been left out.

Quite handy to me, as Mrs AS has given me her wishlist which involves Country Road and DJ (at 6 and 10 points per $ respectively).

It's worth comparing the points offerings to what you get in the VFF Mall.

Pity about ebay being out of the "loop" for bonus Qpoints.
Tend to do a lot of my shopping on that website via QM.

Hope you two might be able to help me. I haven't used QM before. My wife's phone is an I4 so well past its use by date. Reading the email it clearly says there are 10 PPD available at DJs, and 3 PPD for Apple products, and I was looking at either of them to buy her a new phone. However, both of their items have an * and a ^ which in very fine print, state that you cant earn any points at either retailer. Am I reading this corrrectly? Your thoughts appreciated.

Frank.

You can earn 3 points at Apple alright, but QFP won't be earned on the Apple products at DJ.

Just had my points come through and something doesn't add up.

Spent $206 at DJ, so I should be seeing 2,060 points in my account. There's only 972.

That's barely 4.7 points/$. It's not even the regular 5 points you get from DJ through the mall.

I am guessing that is fairly close to your base points, as from memory you don’t get points on the tax component of what you’ve paid

I had no idea about this tax thing. I've bought off eBay alot and always received the points/$ exactly.
OK, so just checked my receipt and it's actually $106.
So tax is 8.3%?

MY DJs points posted (for some general merchandise not Apple) and I received the 10 points per $.

It appears this is the case. Minus GST, the cost was $97.18, so 972 points. Seems some retailers enforce this and other are lax.
