QF No Longer Printing FF Number on Boarding Passes

Just done a number of flights with AC and NZ. No FF details on BP but points etc all came through very quick

NZ tend to put status in (obviously) whereit exists, but not the actual number.

eg on all mY BP's they show something like FF: UA FQTV UA*G

AC have been similar too.

I suppose if one has no status there's no need to show anything :)

I also like that UA on their own BP's show the FF# as something like UAxx_x123 - so the number is useless for anyone picking up a BP, but that info is enough to confirm with either a membership card or internal system.

Have often wondered why QF still bother to print the full number on BP's

The (ahem) inconsistency could be due to a managed roll out of the change across either airports or systems (eg: the kiosk system vs the desk systems etc).

All of my BP-numbers-on were when I got paper BPs printed at the lounge (HBA then ADL), having checked-in online.

I noticed this inconsistency really and wondered...
I recently flew 2 x QF and 2 x AY sectors - all connecting flights.
The first QF BP and the 2 x AY BPs had the FF number, the second QF flight didn't have the number - how odd!
It was different for all three of us travelling too.

OOh ROo

Did points/status credits post accordingly?

Flew SIN-BNE-CNS. No FF number on either BP. Thought I’d ask in BNE bout it. Told your FF number isn’t in the system. Staff member entered it and reprinted BP which now showed the FF number. Could be a glitch, not an enhancement.

Not the same, the example above has the members status but no QFF number (I.e Platinum One QF instead of Platinum One QFxx_xx_x)

I'm P1 and the BP's issued by the agent in JFK had all the details on it. JFK-LAX-BNE for 1 x P1 and 1 x WP.

FF status was not printed on either BP.

FF status was not printed on either BP.

But the information you have provided where your FF number hadn’t stuck to the booking is different to others as they have confirmed posting of points, and recognition of their status on the BP. I still suggest two different issues at play here.

Then your number wasn't added to the booking. This is a completely different issue.

Yeah, think it could be a different issue.

Strange thing, it was a classic redemption booking. I had to enter my frequent flyer number to complete it.

Executive Traveller have posted an article about this now. According to that the FF number has been removed for privacy reasons and the change is being progressively rolled out.
