You don't have to survey many people to get pretty accurate result. How do they get this sort of data? I've never been surveyed for anything like this.
They knew it was bad when they offered people Qantas vouchers to complete the survey and people slammed the door in their face. They go around door knocking people, give them vouchers etc as incentive to answer some survey questions.

Maybe people trust Woolies and Coles because when a product in your on line order is not delivererd, you tell them and you get an immediate refund. Or if a product is not up to scratch they refund you. Or if your points don't arrive they will quickly rectify it.Why do the people surveyed trust Woolies and Coles so much? Woolie treat their staff horribly, but I guess you can trust them to profit whilst jacking up prices and screwing over our farmers.
I don't put much stock in these rankings.
Perhaps the supermarkets and burnings don’t have things that can go wrong? No call centres. No unpredictable things like weather, or overselling. No dodgy overseas call centres. Why do the people surveyed trust Woolies and Coles so much? Over the survey results? No. It’s the things that lead to the survey result, which in other companies have had some pretty profound effects at management and board level.. I'm not sure why anyone needs to resign...

I've been on this survey list for years. It's interesting seeing the results when they are released. I was also on multiple consumer panels for advertising and new products. One I recall was for the second tranche of Telstra share release. How do they get this sort of data? I've never been surveyed for anything like this.
So a great success then?I think Matt Golding’s cartoon in the SMH captures the public mood perfectly.
