Well it's been a great day so far. Was fortunate to guest Simo into the QCC today and he was good enough to drive (and arrange parking 400m from The Gabba).

I'm there too. I came up from Melbourne especially for the first three days. I'm about the same distance as you are QF WP from the screen but in the other direction. My lunch was therefore a beer and a sausage roll. A very enjoyable day's play and I look forward to tomorrow. The Hilton lounge now beckons.

So after scuttling the Kiwis, the Aussies have gone into 1 day mode, with Warner and Burn hitting it to all parts of the ground, only interrupted by the short rain storm.

There is a 3 strikes "in a 12 month period" policy IIRC, so if Starc is naughty in the remaining two Tests against NZ (which are both in 2015), then he's likely to be suspended by the ICC. I'm sure that Smith gave him a stern word in the sheds and I'm sure he now understands the consequences of his action.

I know. I would have suspended him now to teach him a lesson in humility. His actions have meant the focus has been on him and not the great team performance that gave them a decisive victory.
