Was nice to watch Handscomb get his maiden ton, but from an expectation of 450+ at the start of play, as they dropped around him I was worried about 400 for a while.
Then came the last wicket 50+ partnership between Lyon and Bird. Some terrible bowling allowed them to take full advantage and it was raining 4's and a couple of sixes.
Unfortunately some tool thought it would be fun to invade the pitch but he couldn't run very fast and was captured by the chasing security guard before he got into the pitch area. The other security guards around the ground were a little slow to react and one of them did his hamstring on the way out. Two police also journeyed out and took him into custody including a nice wrist twist that had the offender grimacing in pain. I was too busy cheering them to get the tosser off the field that I missed a photo. I hope he'll enjoy the fine (probably paid by his mates) and likely ban.
