QF1/2 F pax experience through SIN

We hope to experience the new F lounge in January, assuming it’s open. Do you think it will be restricted to only F passengers as is the recent trend or will WP etc be given entry? Assuming of course, it’s finished in time.

If the history of QF F lounges is anything to go by, then it most likely will be an F/WP/OWE lounge.
Restricting lounges to F pax and select high tier FFs is usually done in an airline's home port/country and not an outstation.

Btw good to see mods moving posts and editing them without trace so when people read "back on topic", they have no idea about the history

That’s fine. We are flying F anyway and are WP so covered on both bases. I actually only wanted to fly J but no J awards were released on release day so had to stump up for more points.

In the Qantas Newsroom release they did mention "top tier Frequent Flyers" in a quote by Alan Joyce, so hopefully that bodes well for Platinum and Emerald passengers.

Not necessarily. Could have a similar arrangement that BA has with the CCR whereby it's restricted to First pax and GGL. Therefore Qantas could effectively do the same and have a lounge for First pax, CL and P1 with Emeralds and Sapphires going to the current SIN lounge (as happens with BA in SIN)

And Qatar as well. As long as there is a lounge for Emeralds to go to then they can have an exclusive lounge for J passengers regardless of status and for F.

Yeah that’s true. Forgot about that. Well as a soon to be WP when I drop from P1, I hope they don’t restrict it to P1/CL/F
