QP Pizza - I've given it a good run, but my verdict is a thumbs down

I recall receiving 3rd degree burns from the contents of a party pie as they escaped the back of the pie onto my wrist in the BNE QP. Givenit was BNE my expletives went unnoticed. Serves me right for stalking the hot food..

OK, well, I've given it a good chance, but after 5 or 6 separate taste tests, I am officially giving my thumbs down to the QP pizza.

My main issue with it is the consistency - somehow it seems to be both dry and soggy at the same time. I'm also a bit disappointed in the general lack of toppings, but if they were well cooked I'd probably be OK with them being mostly pizza base.

Flight: QF553 BNE-SYD 763 VH-OGV
Travel purpose: Work/Continuing Education course
Pizza: Pepperoni, Mushroom & herb (aka cardboard)

Visit 1: Only large pile of relatively untouched cardboard left. What, they don't eat vegetables in Qld? Took 2 slices. Needed mushroom soup & ginger ale to wash it down.

Visit 2: 1 slice pepperoni, 1 slice cardboard. Needed more mushroom soup (quite nice!) & ginger ale to wash it down. Pizza not sitting around as long, softer base, but not much taste.

Verdict: Have to agree, thumbs down.
