Hmmm, I have photo's of Kiwi Flyer (just looked at them on my computer and they are posted on FT somewhere) but when I get a chance next year, I'll be updating some previous posts that will have photo's embedded.

You know something Lindsay, and I may have missed something, but in Kiwi's original momth of madness in Israel I did not see any photos of him, only of other FT'ers. But what the heck I will catch up with him somewhere along the way.

I have some from ozfest II and other times when I have met up with him...I'll have to go and look at his Isreal photo's and see if I can spot him. Should be easy, I doubt I'll know too many others...

When I was about to leave SIN I checked one last time and I was still logged in to AFF even though I was not logged in literally. If you know what I mean. Anyway they have some problem I think.

I am now trying to post from Thailand and it seems to be working so far.

Hmm... I had no trouble with either AFF or FT back in October. I used them several times during my ½ day transit there.

(However, at one stage I noticed the whole network went down for an hour or so.)

Are you sure that FT and AFF not remaining logged in is intentional, or they've just messed up something in the config. At work I can't for the life of me stay logged into the QF site, but here is ok.

I really think it depends upon how lenient your "cookie monster" is.

Some situations are hopeless like SYD International Freebies or the access you can get in many hotel rooms via the TV.

Although I remained logged in (on aff server not SIN internet access PC) I could only post about 5% of the time, kept getting logged out after pressing "submit", and only worked after saving my reply into memory by ctl+c and continuously clicking reply + logging in everytime + ctl+v until it finally posted.

Finally got sick of it after ~60 log in's.

The QFF site is like this for me at work, I can login and then sometimes can get through a couple of pages before seeing the login screen, sometimes I get nowhere. I've long suspected the 'cookie monster' but haven't really been able to track down what is going wrong.

It is something to do with the config/cookies.

I use the computers in the lounge with no problems but occassionally think of something to send a quick message on the way out to the gate and a little annoying to not be able to.

This board has its issues on my computer at home. Often when I post a reply I am confronted with the login page again.
