I have a RA referral certificate that I'd like to give away, but would like a worthy recipient to earn it.

It's as simple as this: The person with the best limerick that includes their favourite IC in it will win.

I'll make a decision by 7:30 pm next Sunday, the more humourous the better!

Why hello there IC in Praha,
With decor that makes me say ha-ha.
Your location was nice,
I enjoyed the rice,
And that lovely walk on the Vltava.

Ten minutes to go,
So I'll have to be quick,
Sydney Intercontinental will do the trick,
Views to die for, I love to stay,
Please consider me for this great give away!

Thanks Guys

Was in such a hurry - missed the next Sunday!!

Sydney Intercontinental's still the best,
Even with time to consider the rest,
The Club Lounge is the place to be,
Views to die for, I love to stay,
Please consider me for this great give away!

I stayed at the IC in Fiji,
As suggested by my mate Luigi,
The staff were fantastic,
The food a bit plastic,
And the room cleaned with a big squeegee

ooh, always wanted a RA!

Here goes:

"The price of HK IC is high
it's never on the Point Breaks list,*sigh*
All the good hotels always go first
I dread having to stay in the worst
With the 'points and cash cancel' I'll give it a try...
"

There was an old man from London;
whom I met in the dunny while chunderin;
he advised against all liquors;and suggested tonic and bitters,
as served in the Club Lounge, Intercontinental of London.

Limerick...interesting...I'm definitely not good at it but can't say no to Milk Man's offer :)

Milk man is kindly enough to offer RA voucher,
If I get it what I'm gonna do in the future?
Perhaps booking the IC HK in the penthouse,
All the items in the minibar are surely on the house,
Sit back next to the private rooftop pool and feeling raptured.

I hope that any of the group properties are ok because it was hard work getting this together. Words are not my strong point. Thank you for the offer MiLK MaN. Very generous

There is a Crowne Plaza to astound Ya
It can be found all the way up in Caloundra
It’s got a day spa & Golf, sorry, you can’t take you dog Rolph.
But there is space for your car and a pretty good bar
So head north and don’t end up in Nowra

I wonder if Milk_Man will follow the 'definition' of what a limerick contains?

I think I recall my 4th. or 5th. class Primary school teacher telling me, that a limerick has the last word of the last line, the same as the last word of the first line.

Anyone want to advance on that? ( I not going to bother Googling it - there's no fun in asking people questions, if one is going to Google everything in life !! )

GORDO

I might even have a second referral certificate to give away. They don't have an expiry do they?

How does a limerick differ from a quatrain ( usually associated with Nostradamus )?

I think I may have written either a quatrain or a quaplain ( four lines, relating a complete poem ? )

GORDO

I stayed at the Hanoi IC
As happy as a man could be
Until I drank some local water
My bowels they did falter
Resulting in a lot of bum pee

(This may or may not have happened last weekend. Stupid brushing my teeth with tap water.)
