Do you have the original? Would be really something to have.

I think so. I know I ordered the print copy of it and think the actual news print version.

That's a great photo of the bird and insect.

So not framed on your wall?
We have an original Bruce Petty from the days of Don Dunstan, Bill McMahon, Bob Hawke - on our wall. It even has a bit stuck over an error that he made. Just recently had it reframed with conservation.

I'm slack like that. I do have an extensive scrapbook of cricket newspaper clippings from those days.

We visited Meteora in 2008, before I started writing Trip Reports. I don't recall seeing much about them on this site so I thought I would post a few photos. We caught a train & stayed several nights & generally walked around. It was possible to catch some local busses but at the time we were there most tourists seemed to be catching day tours into the area

We travelled to Mostar in Sept 2004, a couple of months after the rebuilt bridge was opened. Was still a very sad/solemn place in those days with gutted buildings providing plenty of evidence of relatively recent fighting. The cemetries were pretty horrible with all the 93,94,95 grave signs. Apparently the cross atop of the hill is 100ft across ( built by Catholics & an anoyance to the Muslims). Bridge reconstruction cost $15 million-seems a small figure when reading of costs in todays dollar terms.

I'm not overly religious, but I do like religious establishments. Chester Cathedral.

We were totally surprised by the horse & carts still being used to get around parts of Bansko

Contrast the horse & ccart with ski fields of Bansko-apparently very cheap skiing

Don't seem to see the Plitvice Lakes of Croatia mentioned much on here. We had a great time in 2004 when we stayed nearby & thus avoided the crowds when the day trippers arrived on the buses. Maybe things are different now with an improved motorway
