This will be my first AFF event. What happens with the bill, particularly how we pay for the wine etc??

I am hoping that they will take individual payments on the night for the meal (I will cover the deposit) otherwise, bring NZ$100 notes and I will bring NZ$1 coins!

As to the bar tab, I haven't broached that with them. If they don't take separate tabs, then cash in the middle and the winner pays with a points earning card!*

*As the lead organisers, blackcat20 and I are automatically the winners!

Slight change to my accommodation arrangements. I'm staying at the Hilton on the Saturday night as I need 4 stays by 30 April. Room rate was NZ$479 but I got a points + pay for 24,000 points + NZ$128. I thought that was a good deal . I'm still at the Crowne Plaza on the Friday night for 25,000 points.

Also, following my recent trip to the US I now have something suitable to wear.
