I would be very interested: I am single and I live in Canberra (which means I grab any chance I get to get out and about without much prior notice). The problem is that money is tight... When I see Jessica in Canberra in a couple of weeks, she should teach me a few tricks on manufactured spending and manufacturing points so that I can make it to events like this... (One can hope, right? )

Working on it. Of the 3 other people in the family she's the only one that has taken a remote interest. But that is mainly to make sure her points balance is higher than her older sister. She did ask how she could get silver once, but was put off by the idea of flying with dad.

I had a PM from a member yesterday expressing interest. Fingers crossed they decide to come along.

I suspect there are more people like me who were interested in attending but once the waiting list was established made other commitments. I booked to be in Singapore 5 to 9 March so it's no longer possible for me. Pity, as it sounds like it will be a good night. I will be following the trip reports.

In hindsight I should have attended this event.

I had a voucher expiring Christmas Eve and I booked a BNE-ROK-MKY return on this particular day. Can't see that been as exciting as this event.

I am the member Jessica was talking about and have booked flights, I just need to update everything. I am VA 164 (W) OOL AKL on Friday and QF (EK 435) J class and after EK's love last week on EK 418 it may be F lol.

I am the member Jessica was talking about and have booked flights, I just need to update everything. I am VA 164 (W) OOL AKL on Friday and QF (EK 435) J class and after EK's love last week on EK 418 it may be F lol.

Everyone is staying everywhere as there are some functions on in AKL which are limiting the room availability. There are a few at the Crowne Plaza and the Hilton. I am at the Celestion Waldorf.

Can you put my flight details in as I am on VA 7436 BNE AKL 1120 arrive 1730 Friday 6th and QF 8771 AKL BNE 1810 arrive 1900 on Sunday 8th.

Also I am a P1 not a WP as on spread sheet lol

I think in this thread the criterion for WP1 is much more exclusive than QF and consists of confirming that you have something nice to wear
