Thanks Cynicor, as a diamond and when booking, do they automatically know to charge you for 8 nights if you make the booking for 10 nights, i.e. 5 night free x 2... How do they know you are expecting the 5th night free. Cheers
Hi Daveozsydney,
Can you tell me which room you booked at Conrad Maldives for that HH point spend. Cheers and thanks
Jump over to the proper thread but I'd apply for cash upgrades in advance. Just back (5 days) from my 2nd stay there.
I agree with you. I've booked a couple of nights in London at Conrad St James. Is working out at approx $A1000/night asking price so Citi deal was good value. Looked at a couple of other properties and the value didn't quite stack up as well.I contemplated this and crunched the numbers and it works for cat 1 hiltons and the cat 9 and 10 options.

For this reason, I might not transfer additional points for this offer (not many left after mass transfer to Velocity after Citi temporarily reversed their devaluation).
me thinks SQ / VA are goign to see a large spike in points transfers today
Just did mine. Counting down the days till i can book my parents some SQ J fun to the UK for next year.
Hi is the rate now 0.6 down from 0.75? As the Citi Rewards page mentions 2.5 points, not 2.0 points, to transfer to 1 SQ point.
It depends on your card. Prestige is 2:1 which gives an effective earn rate of 1PPD local and 2.5PPD overseas. Signature should be the same conversion rate for domestic spend but lower cards and affiliate ones I think have changed too.
Sorry I realise I forgot to mention Signature.
What I meant was originally it was 1.5 Citi Rewards = 1 KF
Then they had New Points Rate 18 March, 2.0 Citi Rewards = 1 KF
When I visit Citi Rewards website and look at Points Transfer it says 2.5 Citi Rewards = 1 KF
How come it's 2.5 and not 2.0?
I have found the page the OP is referring toOh so it's a different rate depending on your card then is it? My apologies.
I went to https://www.citibank.com.au/aus/static/cards_rewards.htm
Clicked Search Rewards (takes you to CitiRewards.com)
Clicked Travel > Points Transfer
Shows KF 2.5:1
Do you think if you log in as an existing card it shows you a better rate?
And maybe that is for new customers?
I am not a customer, I was just researching Citi Signature for KF, but that seems like a lousy deal at 0.6 per $.
