Tokyo is for an FT do...

But yes, work travel can be fun also, although it is surprisingly exhausting... And contrary to popular belief, I actually do work hard
I don't think anyone was suiggesting you don't work hard.

I love travel but even simple SYD-BNE returns can be exhausting. Especially when there are delays.

Awesome. I suggest we start with a plan for drinks and see what evolves from there.
I am on call that night so will be enjoying lemonade if I make it. Depends how far I can out of area I can go. Western suburbs would be preferable, but I expect the majority will be on the other side of town.

Could have made yum cha for Lunch but off to the Hawks v Tigers in the arvo ...

Ok lets get rid of yum cha this month (I've had more than enough of it lately). We can start with drinks in the arvo (say 4ish), probably somewhere along Southbank. Then if anyone wants to do dinner we can move on from there.

Sorry blackcat20 but I do not agree.

IMHO this thread is for Yum Cha and if organising something else it should be organised separately.

serfty is/was interested in Yum Cha and so are we and there could be others.

Ok, go for it. I'm out then. As no one had volunteered to organise I was trying to assemble people who were available for something.
