Return to Rockford - 2nd April 2017

I am actually quite tempted, although the mid week date makes it harder for us walking stiffs.

A confirmation of our departure details:

Departing from outside the Adelaide Convention Centre at 08:45 sharp (our usual departure point, although that is of not much help if you haven't been before) we need to arrive at Rockford at 10:00am. Once again they have been kind enough to open early for us, they do not open to the public until 11:00am.
Our private tasting will once again be held in the Barrel Room, an area where people are not usually taken.

Please be mindful of the time at Rockford as we really need to get away by 12:30 for our next tasting which has been locked in for 1:00pm at Artisans of the Barossa.
Kym Farley will be our host for the tasting.

After the tasting, we will be lunching at Harvest Kitchen. If anybody has any allergies or special requirements now is the time to let me know, by PM if you prefer, as I need to let the chef know by Monday.

Put your thinking caps on, questions will be asked and prizes given away. Some prizes have been generously donated by member Danger.

No seafood for me or +1 please Buzz.

Sounds like it's going to be another brilliant trip!

WOW, another sold out event. Thank you all for your support, all I need to do now is deliver the goods.
I can confirm that everybody's payment has been received.

During the next few days I shall post confirmation of pick up time and location - I just need to confirm with the coach company. For those that have attended previously, we are not using Corston on this tour as it would have increased the ticket price. We still have a 50 seat coach and I'm sure all will be OK.

feeling old here he he... I remember the good old days... not a 50 seater in sight lol

Was a bit squishy but lots of fun... what year was that Buzz...?

Another Carolyn I see. Just met one tonight on the plane. I know maybe 8 Carolyn's. Moi aussi. All about the same age.

Just a gentle reminder that Daylight Savings ends in SA (and other states) at 3am on Sunday morning 2nd April and clocks are wound back 1 hour to 2am .

Thanks!

Which will result in my usual tortured thoughts on Saturday evening ... will my phone really auto adjust itself and ring the alarm at the 'right' time, or not? Yes, I know it will .... but will it this time?

Perhaps book a wake-up call from penegal

What a coincidence, in the SA Weekend magazine on page 23 there is a magnificent photo of Rockford and food at The Artisans Harvest Kitchen, the places we are going to. If you choose to Google Harvest Kitchen, the establishment gets some awesome reviews.

I can vouch for that. We went there last year, got there around sunset and the view + food was fantastic

What street is the Adelaide Convention Centre on, just so I can find it on a map, and this detail doesn't appear on the wiki.
