I'm in, just let me know the name of the restaurant when finalised and whether or not it is BYO.
Good question.... Web results say that Wah Hing does not allow BYO...
Perhaps we need to think again... for a location that allows BYO
I'm considering of changing my flight to the afternoon QF1555 (steady, Katy plane - lounge party!)
If we go to a BYO I could bring something with me

As I arrive just before 7 I'm not sure I'll make it to dinner?
If nobody else is organising something, sure why not...!
Drinks - Collins Bar Hilton Adelaide...?
Dinner - Wah Hing Restaurant...? A popular place we have been to before which seemed OK
85 Gouger St, Adelaide SA 5000

We could share an Uber straight to the restaurant, the airport is so close to town it's unlikely we would be too late , so long as we both have HLO !
What time is the suggested kick off? Given we have an early start, I can't see myself having a big night, and dragging wine all the way to ADL seems a bit like coals to Newcastle, so I'm inclined to buy something there. And if the choice is Chinese food (one of my favorites) I will drink a beer and / or green tea.
A Chinese meal sounds good to me, will we do share plates with a divvy up on the food price? Or will everyone want to have their own dish?
I am otherwise happy to go with the flow. Some of the Qld contingent don't land until 6.50, so anything before 7.30 pm is too tight schedule wise for us.
So 7:30 for dinner...?
Just need rough numbers before I book.
For dinner the night before, we're a maybe. We'll have Miss 10 with us, and would need to bring her to dinner. I understand that having a kidlet along may not be to everyone's liking, as it is otherwise really an adults weekend.
I personally don't have an issue.

I have no issue with miss 10 kidlets at restarants ... From my experience Asian restaurants have none either. For dinner the night before, we're a maybe.
