RewardPay Alternatives

I've been making BPAY payments to our regular suppliers via Payment Logic/ YP since they launched it earlier this year. There's a few other competitors that do it as well.
As well as taking BPAY payments now, you can add AMEX on Yak portal (rather than payment Logic) and I have just started a beta trial of Velocity points earning on Yak payment.

Yeah, I'm only using Amex for direct payments where surcharge is less than 1.5% (preferably zero). Do you know of any platforms less than 2.15%. I think RP and B2B are higher?

I've been getting "certificate expired" errors on Yakpay for the last couple of weeks. Is this happening to anyone else?

Hi Pangwen,

My name's James, I work at YP. Where about are you experiencing this issue? Is it whilst trying to load into the website? If you would prefer - feel free to PM me the exact specifics and I'll have that issue fixed for you asap :)

Look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,
J

Hi James,

I'm getting the attached error when I go to www.yakpay.com.au

Thanks for looking into it!

EDIT: I have been going through by clicking the "Continue to www.yakpay.com.au (unsafe)" link, but I am trying to avoid having to tell my partner and staff to ignore security errors for fear of introducing issues into my network.

Just had a look. That appears to be the old portal URL - we've just had a small revamp of the platform. Try this new link: Yak Pay or simply Yak Pay.

Let me know how you get on.

Interesting re the EFT transfer and wages payments, I guess it's an alternative to ABA payments from my bank's internet banking portal (they charge a fixed fee per transaction). Would payment using EFT transfer be faster? Currently my internet banking payments are either instant (if NPP) or by next business day at the latest.

Great to hear that fixed it - especially given our newest launch ;)

In regards to the new "Bank Transfer/ EFT Transfer" functionality - it all depends on how fast you can follow the process. In short, if you can process the payment via our portal, NPP us the funds instantly - we can then push the funds out within 5 minutes or so (given it's before 6pm on any given business day).

Let me know if you have any questions :)
