Rewards seats changed from QR to QF without approval and from J to Y

Just a warning that the Qantas visa pages are not always accurate and source information is better. For several years they had incorrect information about TWOV for china, leading to unnecessary cost and stress for those given the wrong information.
The issue is how do you get clarity on the issue with Qantas? It’s impossible to contact them

Checked in this morning for DEL. Bags interlined to LHR. However some issues printing EK board pass in Adelaide

No questions regarding visa for India (as no requirement for transiting)

I have been advised that the transit desk in DEL is operational

However if bags are not interlined you 1000% will need a visa so make sure you have one. I recommend getting it done in advance as things take a little longer

So pleased it worked for you. I'm a natural pessimist and I was worried for you when you first posted in case your bags would not get interlined. I have a feeling that many of us are going to become familiar with DEL in coming months as the list of viable transits en route to Europe dwindles...

The transfer desk only re-opened in late March and it appears that the Qantas website has the old information. Since the transit desk was closed you needed to clear immigration and recheck bags

Hence why I think some people may have issues with been denied boarding

I think the DEL flight is only till August. The loads must be low as you can get Business award seats most weeks on short notice

The flights from ADL (and SYD I think) are time limited but the flights from MEL are continuing and very hard to find availability for reward business class.

We are currently going through exactly the same thing! We booked a flight for June 28th 2023 and was told it was confirmed. We then booked. Injecting flights and started our itinerary. We checked last week to confirm everything was in order only to find out first flight Sydney-Dubai had been removed from the website!
We've mage close to 50-60 calls to Qantas and as per usual, we're hung up on regularly and no call backs after being promised. We always pray we get the Aussie workers but only seem to get Fiji, Phillipines and South Africa.

Something needs to be done about this! It puts so much stress on people! What the hell do you have a rewards system in plz e when all this is, is a massive Ponzi Scheme??!!

Welcome to AFF @Barbalatte. You would think that with this problem having gone on for so long they should have had a fix in place.
There are many threads on here with similar problems. Sometimes they get fixed but sometimes not. But there are some hints in the other threads so read a couple.
Hopefully you will be one of the lucky ones.

@drron thanks for the welcome! What coughs me is tha Allan Joyce gave himself a bonus! With this cough that goes in these call centres, he should be sacked just for this issues!

It's absolutely not acceptable! I will try all the tricks I read and report back. We've already sent an email to Stefanie Tully and Dema Morris so see how we go. We still have plenty of time but want this resolved ASAP.

On another note, how often do Qantas release reward flights? I heard 11 months and 6 months out.
