Same here - Roborock v7 Max. They had an end of financial year run out last June, so we decided to go for it. It does a really good job on the hard and carpeted surfaces. We've programmed it to run Mon/Wed/Fri on the hard surfaces, and attach the mop usually on Monday's run. For the carpeted areas we do them as we need - usually weekly, but sometimes longer when the room isn't being used. We haven't had any issues with the wifi connection though. We have a Roborock V7max with the dock, bought for the matt tiles in the unit (that show every mark) but currently resides at the ranch.
Works really well but very clunky interface, doesn't run on fast wifi so I have my phone connected to a downgraded guest network.
Very happy with our iRobot i7+ (20/1/21) - sometimes has issues docking (maybe 1/10). Good interface and easy to clean periodically. Thought about a combined vac and mop this year but seemed a PITB so went for the complementary Braava M6 which allows me to vac regularly on weekly schedules with i7+ and then use mop just do separate wood floors more often (daily) with a dry sweep or wet mop. It’s now over 7 years since @blackcat20 started this thread, when it comes to robot cleaners, are AFFers happy with them? are they good on hard floors and carpet, do the ones that mop also work etc. Is it a case of you get what you pay for
@Denali how is your friend who got a exy one for Christmas going with it?
What about robot lawnmowers?
Our Cole & Mason ones haven't skipped a beat in the 10 years we've had them. Hand cranked, not that electric rubbish.I'm sick of my salt grinders giving up after a year or so. Can anyone recommend good ones.
Also - I've tried a number of different spiralisers for my zucchini - they are either useless, a danger to my fingers or require so much washing up afterwards it isn't worth it

Would you consider pre-ground salt?I'm sick of my salt grinders

I always buy at Sur La Table, its my favourite store over there. It was significantly cheaper at the time but that was 9 years ago, I also bought the Braiser. At current prices and exchange rates the braiser is only $75ish cheaper to buy in the US, so that NZ price is very competitive. Also @blackcat20 you mentioned you bought some le Creuset from the US? Currently in NZ I can buy the shallow casserole/braiser in the colour I want for $480NZD vs the usual $600-620 advertised price. Is the US that much cheaper? And I was wondering whereabouts in the US? Was it a certain store?

Question: Would you purchase an air fryer mat or just a chopping board to protect your kitchen surface? I wasn't going to but after reading some posts in here decided I probably should.

We've been using the Cole & Mason battery-operated 'Richmond' pair for about 20 years now. The original set didn't last that long; have maybe replaced the set twice in that time, but has been due to our own handling (or mis-handling) that has caused the need for that. They don't like to get wet or get dropped from too high. On sale at Amazon right now: https://www.amazon.com.au/Cole-Mason-Richmond-Pepper-Silver/dp/B007TT0HSK?th=1I'm sick of my salt grinders giving up after a year or so. Can anyone recommend good ones.

That's a lot of batteries. I remember using one like that at a friend's once and the battery fell out into the soupWe've been using the Cole & Mason battery-operated 'Richmond' pair for about 20 years now. They do go through the batteries though. 6 x AAAs in each. Probably for another thread, but I've found the Varta batteries from Bunnings are the best and longest lasting standard/long-life cell, vs buying up to a lithium type.
Cheers,
Matt.
