Thats three drinks, 90 minutes should be fineIf as a woman I am only allowed 1 drink per hour then how the heck am I going to be able to try the Bellini, Moet, and Taittinger next Friday morning for a 10am flight? I know, set the alarm for 4 am!
Aside from the official response is there any evidence (experience) of this being anything other than an isolated incident due to a overly zealous staff member? Is this policy being routinely enforced?
I can confirm that this has happened previously in the SYD F Lounge to a table of 4 of us.
Short pours, incredibly long times between refills and then a mysterious tray of coffees that when we pointed out we didn't order "perhaps you should have them anyway". I kid you not.

Sexist much?! I hold my alcohol a lot better than many men and would not (was not) be impressed being told I was limited to one per hour. Pretty sure it's two in the first hour for women too.
Sexist? maybe but this is whats been promoted for atleast the past 5-7 years that I can remember.
Males - 2 drinks first hour 1 drink each hour after
Females - 1 drink first hour 1 drink each hour after

But this is safe limits regarding being below the drink driving limit.
I agree it's not sexist but I cannot fathom how it's QF's responsibility to ensure that I can drive a car after being in the F Lounge. In fact I cannot see how it's any licensed premises responsibility to ensure this.
It's mine and mine alone.

Given that realistically this scenario can only occur if you are on a JQ flight (no other flights short enough for it to be an issue), perhaps this is the logic behind it. However, if so, it would be nice if QF could just be upfront and state it.I cannot fathom how it's QF's responsibility to ensure that I can drive a car after being in the F Lounge.
