Yep, that day trip is now on my list for next year. Just confirming Bindibuys, this was in May, I will be there in April.

So, that concludes my SSSSS trip. I enjoyed the Orkney & Shetland islands so much, I just returned from a 6 week UK holiday, where I was able to show my husband this time all the sites.
My daughter has returned from her year away, spending the last 6 months in Wisconsin.
Had a quick trip back to Singapore for our Anniversay - this time flying Scoot. I have managed to go from one extreme to the other.

Hope to get some more time to report on our UK trip last month, but have 4,800 photos to choose from. It may be a while before it reaches this site.

I do hope you enjoyed this report.

So that's what Lauterbrunnen looks like without snow...
I was there at Xmas a few years back, everything was white and the waterfalls were mostly frozen.
Did Jungfrau and weather was perfect (but cold) up top blue skies and all, could see for miles.
Good photos.

Thanks Jastel, hoped that my pics would bring back memories for some of our members.

The secret to a great TR - Excellent Photos!
SQ F still on my bucket list, one day...

Wonderfull TR, thanks.

While I am deeply envious of the SQ F, I am MUCH more so of your trip to the Scottish islands. Over 6 trips to Scotland and I haven't managed that yet :(

Great photos. Very inspiring for my trip to Switzerland next year :)

How did you get to stay at the Tanglin Club?

Wonderfull TR, thanks.

While I am deeply envious of the SQ F, I am MUCH more so of your trip to the Scottish islands. Over 6 trips to Scotland and I haven't managed that yet :(

RooFlyer, this last trip was just about all islands - Ireland, Mull, Iona, Skye, Outer Hebrides, Orkneys, Shetland & Jersey. And boats of all shapes and sizes, think the count was up to 35 embarkations. (but only counting Queen Victoria cruise as 1)

I really wanted to do a TR while in progress, ( like Pushka and DrRon) but I get the "glare eyes" from hubby when I spend too long on the computer while we are on holidays. He is away for work this next 2 weeks, so I just may get some time to make a start on doing the TR for it.

Another post of thanks - very enjoyable TR

It's never too late for a good TR and this indeed was one.
The last TR of mine was the first time I have ever been able to keep up the posting whilst still away.As they say practice makes for perfection.it has taken very many TRs to get to be able to keep up with the posts.

And also thanks for the Scottish isles.Makes me much more likely to consider the cruise around the far north Isles of Scotland.

100% agree - except I think you mean SQ R on your bucket list. :D

Yes Bindi you are correct there - all bookings will indeed show F for both Suites and std F - but to differentiate different F product on SQ R relates directly to Suites whereas F indicates std F on SQ.

Small point indeed but I think boomy did mean R on his bucket list - and that indeed is an aside to your fabulous TR - just love the pics - wish I could take pics as good.
