I got this email a couple of weeks ago purporting to be from eBay:
That one set off every warning bell for malicious emails - no reference to our user ID, poor spelling & grammar, no punctuation, strange terminology, reference to previous messages that we hadn't received, etc etc.
Turns out it was actually a legitimate email from an AU eBay employee whose job it is to communicate platform changes to SMB (eBay Store) customers.
