Scams like these

I got my first call from the "vehicle accident" scammers today. As I don't have the quick wit of some of those on here I just told her she was a liar and hung up.
You need to say, ""internet say you are a ScammerJee..."""
Since I said that to the man with the last car accident helpline phone call, my home phone has been very quiet!
Internet modem router still has all green lights.
I now answer all home phone calls with ""Namaskar"", they will surprise the other side for a few secs.
If the voice is someone you know, then you can explain, but if you say Namaskar, and the reply is Namaskar xx_ (I couldn't grab what the reply is... you know its "them").
Naha Parashan Mat Kharo or something like it, in one dialect is don't upset me.
Granted, the Indian who calls you might be Tamil and not Hindi speaking.
Try it, you don't need wits, you just need to be on a sure footing as soon as the mobile or home phone rings.
These days, always assume its a scammer/spammer calling.

So today it was an account from the UN but the email address was southafrica.com and was from Amanda.
Don't think I will pay up.

Under Gmail I only get the Facebook follow so and so with all based in the Arabian Peninsula.
I get less pleas for "pills" buying with my Gmail account, but Yahoo while it has it good bits, it has its horrid bits too.
Wouldn't say scam, more like spam.
For Yahoo, my filter also has been greyed out for all spam, don't know why, so now I can't ("filter" mail like these to trash).
Must admit, I haven't had the Russians girls after me for a long time now.
Those Canadian pharmac_ ones keep getting through, I added all the pill acronyms I can think of and yet they come with "pills" which I have just added them to "blocked".
Maybe Mailwasher or one of those outside of Yahoo mail might be the trick. Haven't used them though.
Edit: now the scammers are smart enough to put in the paper clip attachment sign to your sms smart phone.
I deleted mine, had my 2nd phone on silent, so maybe lucky I didn't open it.
It was an Aust mobile phone number.

Most recent Paypal malicious email: - Important : Your Account Has Been Limited
Be careful of this one AFFers.

When I forwarded it to [email protected] it shot back the response;
"We have identified malicious content in the email you sent to us and have blocked that email from our systems."

First time I have received this message back from them.

Someone called me last week to enter me into a draw for $250,000... apparently I had entered a similar draw before and this was a new one, so he needed my details again, despite calling me! I told them I wasn't interested as I had won the lottery the week before... there was a silence and then the phone went dead :)

Got the standard a couple of days ago:

846-258-5057 has sent you a new fax.

Date : Tue, 22 Aug 2017 12:38:55 -0500 06:21 PM

Size : 16 page(s)

Visit the link below to view your fax in Microsoft Word:

Where the link has a space (ht tp//) and later on it has a live link called salem.media so don't like my chances...and then everything else is using efax's correct details.

i'm also now getting spammers sending me stuff via my website enquiry link, but thankfully I'm also getting:

This sender failed our fraud detection checks and may not be who they appear to be.

Easy to check a genuine enquiry from a client or referral. ;)

The same rubbish keeps coming through daily. I find it hard to believe people fall for this garbage.

Dear PayPal member

Your account is now subject to dual stage authentication. Please use the following link to log on and ensure your details are correct.

Underneath the main text of the email...

How do I know this is not a spoof email?
Spoof or "phishing" emails tend to have generic greetings such as "Dear PayPal member". Emails from PayPal will always address you by your given surname and given name.

Well, that made things easy. The rest of the email, aside from the title, was pretty convincing. .

Seems the First Lady is feeling exceptionally generous to me today - she has kindly offered me $USD20,000,000 that she has floating around in her office.

Didn't realise the USA had a Federal Ministry of Finance, let alone a branch in another country . . . guess I'd better send that $180 off darn quick before someone beats me to it!!!

Strange how I don't have a Visa with those last 4 digits.

Whilst over in my personal emails, they continue to come and most have been advised here before - particularly Natalia and her friends. They must be nymphos. Maybe they (I) could benefit from all those Cialis or similar emails....

I also finally got the phone call advising me about my car accident earlier this year. I was going to play along, but dinner was being served. I didn't have a whistle handy, so I just said "I won't be discussing anything with you, scammer - you're scum" and slammed the phone down.

Normally all the ladies contact me on my yahoo account. On my Hotmail account I get cough etc ones. But this week things have reversed.

No, you are doing it all wrong.
What you did, will make them call you up again and again, and again ad nuesum.
Now, answer all phone calls, mobile or landline, or internet chat... with ((NAMASKAR, twice, as we all know, scammers have a few secs lag time before they start speaking)).
Keep saying NAMASKAR till you get the response, let them start their spiel...
And then say this, ((Internet say you are a ScammerJee)).
The guy replied and said he wasn't a scammer, but after I said those words, and put the phone down, I have not had any more phone calls, not Windows, or any other Indian call centre.
Try it with the NAMASKAR and the Italics above.
I couldn't catch his reply, but I believe that NAMASKAR and then a 2nd word is said as a reply.
Assume all calls are scams or spams until proved otherwise is my new motto.
