Has anyone else had a job offer from Orchid or Lillian Kelley?

Once again I've received scam email to a name and an email address which have only ever been connected on one of the family QFF and Woolworths loyalty accounts.

I have received one from Lillian.
Todays where a mixed bag with employment offers from royalhousehold.net-more my style but one from lumberjack-definitely not interested.

I continue to get emails from different people within this organisation - two this week, but they have always easily found their way to my Junk mail folder:

Whilst they have an "unsubscribe" link and it appears Hadoop 2.7 is current valid software, I'm retiscent to click on it, lest they then know I am a "live" email address.

I'm trying to figure out whether I have a virus on my Nexus 5 phone or whether I'm getting scam messages.

I run Chrome on my smartphone although some of the links I follow are from another Google App (Google now). I have been getting a message (usually a pop up window) on and off for the last few days saying there is a virus on my phone and attempting to get me to run what it says is an anti virus Android program. Sometimes it even comes up with an IP address which I think is one of the IP addresses we use on our network. The web site it appears to come from is a series of random letters starting with something like jcyz. The messages pop up when I'm trying to follow other links from the Google now app or links from web pages I'm already using on Chrome. These messages have popped up from links from various sites ranging from TV/Media sites and Sports and general news webpages.

I've also had a message warning me I'm about to visit what could be a cough site. The warning web page also has an address similar to the virus page starting with jcyz or something similar.

In all cases I have backed out and eventually closed the tabs without following any of the links. It's a bit tricky to do with the pop ups but I've managed to do it. I then usually turn off my phone and reboot it a few minutes later. This has been going on for the last 2 days.

Has anyone had similar messages on an Android phone? Do you think they are genuine or scams. My gut instinct is Scam which is why I haven't followed any of the links. I've only been using smart phones for a couple of years and don't have a lot of experience with virus problems on smartphones.

I'm trying to figure out exactly what the scam is here. The family member email and name this was sent to has only been used in this combination for Woolworths loyalty programs and Qantas Frequent Flyer. There are no social media accounts in this name and no emails were sent to the person who claims they are responding to a message.

"G'day! How are you?

First of all, thanks for your message. Usually I don't reply messages which I get on social media. I mean the messages with no names and pics. But you gave me your email address to exchange our pics. So, I send you mine, I will be waiting for yours! But please, no nudes!

Also write me more about yourself. Whatever you want me to know about you. I have enough info in my profile. I hope you have read it because I am deleting it from there. I wrote I was looking for friends in Australia only but I got a lot of messages from the sexual perverts from all over the world!

So, if you are still interested in friendship with a cute and pretty smart girl, write me here. I need to say again: I can meet in Australia only, I am not going to go to any other country. By the way, Ilona is my real name :)

I hope to hear from you soon!

Best regards,

Ilona."

The email address it was sent from claims to be an outlook address and has Ilona and her last name listed. Is the scam involved based on the reply email address? There were no attachments or links sent with the email. There is nothing in the email address that this was sent to which shows it is an Australian email address.

I just deleted Ilona's email sent to my normal email...

OTOH the fake invoice emails are arriving in multiples. I can't even report them as spam since the outgoing email server blocks due to the virus in the zip file. from an account at reckon.com

Happy wandering

I got this email as well. I suspect it is a love scam.

I saw a great tip for finding out which company sell/pass on your details/email. You add the company name in the middle name section or tagged on after your first name. So when you do get spam, if they use your name with a company name then you know who has passed it on.

She wants to see if the email address is a life one or not.
Got one from her or him too.
They can also spoof senders, I am now getting emails from myself which I didnt send.
They also know my real name is Andrew.

Hey, I got it as well - she's been busy :o

Hello! This is Ilona. Yes, it's my real name.
Usually I don't reply such messages on social media as yours. I meanunsigned and with almost empty profile. That's why I need to say thanks foryour email address, I attach my pictures as you asked. But I had enough pics inmy profile.
I guess you read in my profile that I am looking for friends only inAustralia. I can go to any city but only in Australia. I like travelling andAustralia is big enough to find new places to visit :)
If you don't mind to have a pretty and clever girl as a friend, you canwrite me! I will send more new pics. But I am not interested in exchangingnaked/lingerie pics. I don't have and don't send them and also I don't wish toreceive them.
I will be waiting for your reply!
Sincerely,
Ilona.

I knew it was a fake as I have a full LinkedIn profile, so that was a dead giveaway to being a scam...

I also reported a scam email to Dropbox this morning.

Hi Dropbox Support Team,

I have never heard of AHAlife (or Thomas) previously, have never bought any of their products, have never been a supplier of theirs nor have any desire to be one.

The email address used is also an old email address of mine (hasn’t been used since November 2015).

the email (please don't click on the link):

This one is a worry and could possibly catch a few out. If you click on the first link it goes to a dodgy site, if you click on the links further in they point to the ATO. However as I have no idea about BAS, I'm guessing the 'from' email adress is wrong as well.

Ilona obviously knows I am highly sought after and she had no chance.Ramona,Elaine and Juliette were offering me untold delights today.
