After many, many, many years of travel... casualty.

Hubby forgot his laptop bag in the hallway and didn't realise till we got to the airport. Fortunately nothing that can't be replaced or other options available.

He's handling it well, he hates that he screwed up but I tell him its not a big deal as its not lost.

Etihad weighed our J carry on.

Oops. Interesting weighing J. Was it large? But also lighter without the laptop ;)

New laptop en route somewhere?

Standard cabin size, weighed 8.5kgs, with my handbag inside it. Offered to take it out and they said no. They tagged my bag with 9 written on the tag. Didn't weigh Hubbys backpack but he was 7kgs.

New laptop en route somewhere?
Yes. Already online looking at options. He's pissed at himself but can't be undone so he's now emotional eating.

Etihad lunch.

Most seem to be ordering two items, we said one of each to share please.

Surprised that the lamb slider was more a lamb burger (hubby said it was good) but I thought the haloumi was really good/would order seconds good.

No. He got new laptop in Jan and he's too p'd with himself to be a plan.

But its done, move forward.

Boarding complete. Seat is more comfortable than I thought it would be. I'm sitting window reverse, real easy to spy on hubby by phone camera who is window forward.

Looking forward to checking out the lounge and I usually avoid them.

I'm hungry now - looking forward to lots more reports

That view also looks very familiar! If it makes you feel better, there's beautiful sunshine (rare) down in London today :D
