A little tip for all the frequent international travelers ... you are unable to do points transfers if you are outside of Australia… And no error message appears either… found this out the hard way.

I guess the work around is using a IP hack :p

Interesting ... would "private browsing" such as offered by such as Chrome/Firefox work?

Just received an email from Velocity saying the 15% bonus now runs through to 10th of December. Handy for those of us whose flybuys balance last night was a whisker under 2,000 points!

I wonder if this extension is targeted as there appears to be no mention of the 15% bonus when I look to redeem on the FB site (unlike yesterday).

I got this too.

I think it's for all..... Disorganised, overseas people..
I got the email.
Upset not total balance but 2000 blocks min!

I got this too.

I didn't receive it but Mr Jurahn did. Our Flybuys account is in my name, but it's currently linked to his Velocity account, so not sure if that's why he got the email and I didn't.

My family pooled haul has put me over the SG requal mark :)

Received 14 status credits, getting me to 245... and have been promoted to Silver already for some reason. Can't complain.

I picked up 12 SC and Mrs Mac picked up 10 (ours all pool to her as she flys for work each week). Although GCs are excluded, based on our spending it appears that Only1 and Bunnings still trigger SCs, Coles Gift MC does not, unsure about Coles/Myer. I had concerns about Mrs Mac requalifying for Gold given the SC cuts from flying with Virgin which soon come into effect (she flys each week, about half are paid flights half are reward) but with the double SC months and a few of her flights in Nov/Dec triggering double SC she will get there easily.

My VR points after 2 FB transfers are still at 870 X2 few days now.
No sign of bonus 15% VR points to make it 1000 VR points yet.

20 SC's for me but I have already re-qualified WP and unlikely to get to PG levels ...

Can anyone Officially confirm whether or not Bunnings GC's purchased at Coles qualify for Flybuys points? I recently bought a Pressure Cleaner from Bunnings using GC's & languished at the thought of a $150 cash spend on GC's not earning any points.

However, if Bunnings GC's or even better Bunnings accepted FB cards I'd be Very Happy, as a new Bunnings store is opening a 5 min walk away.

Officeworks took away Flybuys a while back.
Dont see Wesfarmers putting Flybuys into anything else except current earning places.

They have earned FBs for me previously. I haven't been able to work out if they trigger status credits (some report that they do).

just got email from velocity

"For 2 days only, score 15% bonus Velocity Points when you transfer your flybuys points into Velocity Points (ending midnight tomorrow)"

would be handy if the bonus points i'm waiting for come through in time!

Edit: Doesn't appear to be targeted
