Should I carry on or check my wedding dress?

I'd love to give you an answer but the wedding is next month. My Mum said to check the dress and if anything happens we buy a new dress there.

I think this is a good example of 'listen to your parents' advice, even if you don't follow it'!

Don't check it in - carry it on. You don't want the hassle of buying another one when you get there.

what's the worst that will happen? Hot pants and a tube top? MIL is boycotting so won't have her to pass judgement :-)

Hot pants? A hawaiian print muu muu would look rather fetching & fiance could wear a matching hawaiian shirt a bit like a quintessential Griswald vacation pic :)

Could make a great photo for the MIL's mantlepiece.

I thought the MIL to be had already bought her ticket so why the boycott now?

Ha ha ha I love the idea of ruining their mantelpiece. Initially neither of them were going but FIL realised his excuse of cholesterol was a poor excuse.

Mumbles something about last time we visited they made us sleep in a tent even though one of the spare rooms was empty.

I think a couple of staged shots in hawaiian/hot pants is now mandatory - just for the look on their faces when they are presented with the photo!

Go carry on for the dress to be certain it gets there.
Congratulations on the wedding plans !
