I will be flying on a paid F ticket SYD-SIN on QF 1, connecting to a F ticket on Singapore Airlines the same day. Of course I will have SYD Qantas First Class Lounge access (and I think I could also use the Singapore Airlines lounge in SYD, but I am not interested in this) and I will have Singapore Airlines Private Room access in Singapore. However, do I also have access to the Qantas SIN First Class Lounge after my QF 1 flight?
Does anyone has practical experience using the Qantas SIN First Lounge on arrival?

I think lounge access on arrival is a WP perk so you should be able to get in. But for those without WP status paid first class is is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural

Thank you @Volki but isn't the on arrival lounge access for WPs only for domestic?

The QFF website only refers to domestic arrival access for WP, no mention of international arrival access. Be great if someone who has tried can confirm though!

No you do not have access to QF F.

Lounge access by class of service is on departure.

My mistake the WP benefit is only for domestic flights. However, I have heard many stories from family and friends about getting lounge on arrival when travelling on a F ticket, especially if it was paid for with cash and you have a WP status to go along with it.

Odd interpretation of lounge access here...

No Singapore airlines lounge access in Sydney, only QF lounge (no relationship between SQ and QF, and SQ won't care that you're flying them later).
Allegedly (according to ET) on arrival international access is only on arrival into Australia.
And even if on arrival access did exist you'd still have to clear immigration, collect bags and re-check them and by that point I'm not sure why you wouldn't b-line it to the Private room which is arguably the best lounge in the world?
Also QF F lounge will be closed by the time you've done all this anyway as it's only open until QF1 boards onward to London.

The opening time would not be an issue as I am arriving on QF 1 and would only use the lounge until the boarding of the LHR-bound QF 1. You are also wrong about the luggage and boarding pass as my luggage will be through-checked from Sydney to my final destination as it is all one ticket and QF and SQ have an interline agreement.
As I said I plan to use the Private Room later in any case, but my question was if I can visit the QF First Lounge before heading to the Private Room.

Ah right so same PNR? or using transfer desk at Singapore? I am intrigued by how to get SQ and Qantas on the same ticket, how did you manage that?

Answer is No at least where SIN is concerned - unless the SQ flight is a QF codeshare.

See article on this today:
According to this: Arrival lounge access is for High Tier FF passengers only on domestic sectors (and not based on fare or cabin class) and Int Lounges in Australia only

Does not need to be on the same PNR to use SIN transfer desk

What time is your SQ flight ex Singapore the following day?

If you're arriving late evening on QF 1 and then have a morning flight on SQ, my experience is that SQ is more likely to be flexible with allowing you earlier access to TPR/F Lounge. They generally try to be quite flexible with F passengers.

I have asked for arrival access at the QF lounge and it's always been a blanket no, so there's probably not much point trying.

What article is that?

Ta, the following confused me as it is not in the article:
Arrival lounge access is for High Tier FF passengers only on domestic sectors (and not based on fare or cabin class) and Int Lounges in Australia only
The article is correct.

If I were to summarise Qantas arrivals access in one terse line it is:

Qantas Arrivals access is a benefit providing access to Domestic lounges for Qantas Platinum Flyers who have arrived same day on a Qantas or a Qantas Partner Airline marketed and operated flight.
