The choice on my return flight was not exciting either. All rather fat-laden, overly meaty or too full of lentils for my taste. Will have to make do with creme brulee in the QF lounge, making sure to make it "diet" by ordering a Diet Coke with it

Am checked in and have boarding passes Now wondering if I have time for a mini lounge crawl at SYD or if I will just stick to Flounging

Now why would you need to worry about "diet" anything?

Weather is great and SIN is looking good in between National Day and F1 GP celebrations. Had my first breakfast at 5.45 in my room followed by gym. 2nd breakfast al fresco while gazing at Raffles. Then interesting exhibition at NMS followed by site inspection of Sofitel So Singapore opening end of 2013. Chicken rice for lunch Now by the pool awaiting spa appointment probably followed by evening trip to Haji Lane and Bali Lane. Tomorrow Absolut exhibition at NMS, with bar! Should be good.

Wondered why the seat had become vacant. 11A I always felt was too far to walk, but I've gone the exit row upstairs many times. Being a few metres from the door = very lazy.

Ok, so for QF740,QF5 tomorrow my QF booking page is now coming up with a warning saying one my flights has been disrupted. Doesn't seem to be any actual disruptions though, maybe just a computer glitch?

I just checked my bookings and there appears to be no issue with QF418 or QF5 for me. Hopefully just a glitch as you say.

Mind you, I was fretting that there had been an aircraft sub. Phew.

My two busses were on time so after a smile to the lounge angel I am now on QF416 - half an hour earlier than planned. Extra Flounge time.

No earlier flight for me to grab so be there as planned, so save me a seat!

As relayed to JT earlier, I'm afraid I'm a scratching. The non FF friends I'm travelling with, ( and transiting SIN) for some strange reason, would prefer to see Singapore rather than the inside of another lounge

And you'll be gone by the time we get back to the airport for our flight to HEL.

Had to suffer the MEL int. Dom J lounge this morning, rather than the Flounge, as Flounge enforcing the 1 guest rule ( no probs with that). Nice eggs Benedict with ham on sourdough for brekky, though. Missed the champers, but making up for that on board now.
