To be clear about that, it is available with travel on those flight numbers from/to the origin/destination or when connecting on the same booking on Qantas flights to/from Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Hobart, Perth, Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington.

Have checked my bookings and the option is gone on these flights. It was showing as available for my bookings that included QF8 BNE-SYD. But that's gone now as well.

Yes, but when it came up on my booking and I was able to book it, I assumed they were offering it to me as an "unpublished benefit". Hence my reliance to my detriment in telling someone else they don't need to come and collect me. So now they're estopped from reneging on it

Yes, I was aware of that - I only mentioned the additional posts in relation to Major's post lest any think this service was more restrictive than it is.

I'm not on QF52, although I expect the food takes about the same amount of time to heat up whatever flight it is

They are soooo yummy. My husband knows I post on this forum and has seen lots of the benefits (like Platinum through JASA's <sob>) but still looked perturbed when I told him the AFF forum said I had to try them!

2 of us are on the 6am flight. The Trs situation sounds bad.

Not just recently. The morning flights have been really bad for a long time. I have almost given up.

Compare that to BNE recently where I saw one person in the queue mid-morning.

If you ring them the day before they can advise when might be the best time to visit, as tour groups give them heads up on possible claims, Brisbane does get long lines as well, normally around 9.

2 months ago I did QF740 & QF5 and transferred straight from DOM-INT. Found TRS desk was completely vacated, maybe being after the morning rush by then. Certainly it has improved since they were in the temporary cubby hole down a side corridor at an emergency exit a couple years back.

Anyone going to pre-order their meal on QF52?

I may just out of interest, the choice isn't that great however.
