SIN lounge crawl 24 Aug 2013

I've been given advanced planning approval for this trip. :!: :shock: I'll attend a meeting in SYD that I was previously going to skip, then head up on QF5. Transit hotel for the night. Any particular flights to target for the return, I'm also considering a quick visit to BNE on the return meaning a 19:55 departure - too early?

Just realised that I'm transiting SIN on the 24th. Arriving late afternoon, then heading downtown for dinner with friends, back to catch AY to HEL near midnight.

Friends haven't lounge hopped before, so I guess we'll be looking at the QF Lounge and probably CX Skyview. No EK access with AY BP unfortunately.

I am going up on QF5 on the 23rd, so I will see you in the SYD Flounge! I plan to return on either QF6 or 82 (both A333 ).

Initially thought I could get the triple points offer on these flights, but that offer is only for domestic and trans-tasman flights for me. I am/was also looking at an ASA via MEL and ADL to return to SYD. As a flexi that would have allowed me to have Sunday at home if I changed the final leg. If flying direct then I'd probably take the later QF82 as I'll just be sleeping once I got to SYD.

anyway long way to say triple points are out for me on this trip, so I'll wait until July to see if I get DSC before booking.

Oh and my meeting on Friday normally ends at midday, so it's a good way to eat into F lounge time. I'll probably leave at the coffee break.

Why Jessica? Do you need to go to SYD or MEL?

If you go directly SIN-MEL on QF36 the cost is SGD526 where as if you go on QF52/QF611-QF613-QF615 SIN-BNE-MEL the cost is SGD549 for one-way economy.

I am heading for MEL. I hadn't looked before, but I see your point - QF52 is a 744, and 5 extra SCs.

That it is indeed, otherwise known as home. FWIW I have no flights booked until the trip to SIN - that's two months without flying! :shock:

EK lounge should be open earlier how that EK432 is now 3 hours earlier, departing SIN at 12:30 for BNE. This is all for BNE runway improvements/overnight closure. Lands BNE 21:40, to depart EK433 at 23:30

I'm also on QF5 on the 23rd. QF have cancelled my 7am ADL-SYD and have moved me to the 6am. I now have to endure 4 hours + in the F lounge . I'll see you and Medhead there.

I'm heading to Koh Samui the next morning so I won't be able to join the lounge crawl.

July is a driving month for me. First to Falls Creek, then ADL, then across the Simpson - with MEL in between each. 7-8,000 km.

While I still have to confirm. I'll be on the 6am flight, ADL-SYD.

Don't worry if I do this I'll be going to a meeting in SYD CBD and won't get back to the airport until about 11:30. So you'll have to save me some bubbles.
