Only Bronze but have a heap of points. Wishing to book 2 Business award flights Singapore - Brisbane 4th March 2020 shows no direct flight availability. Do you think we will have any chance of availability opening up. Thanks in advance. Brian.

J is available with multiple options on that date. As a Bronze I believe the more premium seats are not available until 297 days out? That would mean a wait of another 17 days. Could also be that I have better availability too. One or both factors in play.

Thanks for your reply, I can see the Sing - Melb - Bris but not the direct, guess we will have to wait and cross our fingers.

You are QFF NB and that's down the bottom tier, (J upgrade will first start with CL/P1/WP/then SG then NB).
After that then awards?
Or awards before upgrades.
Going via MEL or SYD does bring the 380 into play, ergo more J seats.
Best of luck.

We would rather not spend extra hours in any plane. A380 or 787. Thank you for your replies.

You must realize even though seats show as available, you are down the pecking order.
And you wont know if have succeeded till quite soon before your do the flight.
Domestic upgrades are confirmed as soon as you see an available seat and book and pay with points for flight and taxes, or pau with points and $ for taxes.

I don't believe OP is looking for an upgrade?
