Sixt - Loyalty Program?

Hi guys. Just found out sixt may have a loyalty program? Just wondering if anyone realized this or actually use the perks and have qualified for status.

You can probably look at status match registration if you already have a status with other car rental providers. I was able to match my Hertz status and get the equivalent Sixt status. Hope it works out for you. cheers

Oh, I just wanted to know how it works, because based on the website it says you are an "express" when you join and after 3 rentals in Oz you get upgrade to gold and i am long past that.
When calling sixt line I get philipines (i think) and they dont actually know lol. so i gave up.

Just look up Sixt status match and fill up the form ; additionally I had to provide a screen grab on my current status with Hertz for the status match.

would have thought so. So it actually does work
I am still waiting to hear back from them as my status hadnt changed despite fulfilling the requirements

Last year in Europe, I had booked the cheapest compact (e.g. Corolla, etc) and the agent offered me a choice of upgrade: an intermediate Skoda SUV or an MB C-series sedan. Took the Skoda because my trip involved some backroads and smaller places. But kicked myself many times because the MB would probably have been a lot more polished ride...

I haven't yet booked any car and have an upcoming booking in November 2023.

Did anyone get a free upgrade in Aus courtesy the status when booking a low cost car ?

Just confirming the renewal qualifications on the SIXT program (and seems to be the same in other programs, too): when they talk about 3 rentals (for Gold) or 10 rentals (for Platinum), is that for the time I've picked up a vehicle? As opposed to the number of days? I.e. 4 rentals, each 4 days, would still be counted as 4 regardless of the amount of days. Right?

I did this yesterday and instant SixT Gold.

I attempted to locate info on the loyalty program on the SIXT Australian website and that was made rather hard.
Still a few months ago, there was a link from the website's front page. Now you need to find your way towards the bottom of the front page where the list of location is, and there select 'Services'.

Makes one wonder if the aim is to reduce visibility of and interest in the program and eventually phase it out?
