SkyTeam Status Match - ITA Airways

Those who got approved. Is your status expiry 15/04/2023?

8) Membership of the exclusive Club recognized under the present Status Match campaign will be valid for one (1) calendar year, starting from 15/04/2022.

@VPS, agree on the packaging I was more impressed with that than the card and bag tag inside. I will most likely keep the box to store small electronic gadgets or cables.

The card is nice, but I'd be more interested in knowing that my SkyTeam Elite Plus status will be fully recognised by other SkyTeam airlines.

Yep, still conflicting reports unfortunately.
Their website still states clearly that it currently isn’t recognised by other airlines

I got my card last week too but it had an expiry of 01/23 so only really a 6 month benefit unless they extend it or I can use it for a status match.

Looks like the SM is back. Still no love for direct match from QF or VA.

Looks like you actually need to buy an ITA flight now as well to get the match.

I took advantage of this offer last year but still haven't used it because I'm not convinced that any of the other SkyTeam airlines actually recognise this yet. Indeed, there's a comment on the LoyaltyLobby article linked above that says Garuda didn't last week.

Yeah, I saw that also and meant to mention that there still appears to be some integration issues still.

On a related note, the ITA website is still terrible. And I wonder what they mean when they say that Volare is "a club so exclusive that everyone can be part of it" ?? That's literally the opposite of what "exclusive" means. 😂 🤔

Great! I'm flying Delta in February. Wonder if they are now acknowledging ITA as a Sky partner.
