Slow posting of QFF points and SCs after a JQ flight

We flew on JQ57 and JQ58 last week and the points and status credits were posted within 48 hours as well

JQ290 CHC-WLG, almost 3 weeks and it hasn't posted. (Well, I *think* I remembered to add my QFF# to the booking...)

I have a new record for my Jetstar points. Flew 17 December 2017 (SIN-DPS), credited points and SCs on 19 April 2018.

They are averaging well over a month, so I usually have a diary note set up to flag the 28 days, check if credited (usually not), and then do a claim.

But 4 months is ridiculous. First missing points claim in Jan on 20th. Follow up email Feb, ditto March and a final very frustrated one on 18th April. Ding a day later all fixed and a very standard email back with absolutely no apology.

Being Bali based and flying to Perth and to Europe via Singapore, I often use Jetstar (mainly for the lounge as QFF Gold & LTS). Probably 20 flights a year.

Not sure who is at fault (Qantas, Jetstar or both?).

Might just give up on them and book other airlines if they don't up their game, as this is getting to be a real hassle.

A marked improvement very recently (plus another new record of almost 7 months):

First date is when credited. 2nd line shows when I flew. Then points & SCs.

Looks like on 29/10/18 after my 3rd complaint about the 09/04/2018 flight SCs & points, someone did an account check and also credited 26/09/18. 6 odd weeks for the last of the Jetstar flights I can live with.
My Qantas flights SIN-LHR & return went through the next day after the flights.

I can confirm the massive improvement in posting time (to what it should have been.....) on 2 recent JQ NZ flights. Fingers crossed it continues!

Filed a missing points claim... which they've rejected. Thanks Qantas!

I had a flight on Friday just credit today (Sunday) - 48h over a weekend.

I’d say they’ve fixed the problem. Horray!

Arrived back on JQ30 yesterday - and just over 24 hours later the QFF points & SC have landed.
I am truely shocked!! :)

Looks like it's now much quicker. A couple of days for JQ flight on the weekend to post.

It's been a good run but I wonder if things are starting to slow down again.... My last flight was a week ago and not credited yet. Will put in a missing points claim and see what happens...

Great, looking forward to the improvements. Past experiences have been woeful.

I previous just did SQ flights using Velocity, turnaround for points and status credits was one day. That's a good customer experience!

I'm not noticing any improvements. Sometimes they come through, sometimes they don't.
I lodged a missing points claim for a return flight taken early December. Flights just appeared in my statement, but they've only awarded points one way. They've messed up the class of flight for the return flight, even though it was booked as a return flight with a Max bundle both ways and the booking clearly shows this. Groan!

All mine are posting within 24/48 hours so huge improvement.

Qantas post literally almost as you take off.

VA you have a job to do now to catch up...

Flight Friday morning. SCs and points posted overnight
If that's the current performance, I'm impressed. I don't even think about JQ points for a couple of weeks. I'm looking forward to my next Jetstar flights, simply to see the point's time frame!

My saga continues. I'm still chasing points from early December. I lodged a missing points claim but they only credited for one flight, even though it was a return. I sent them the paper-work showing fare paid and class of travel. Just got an e.mail from Qantas saying they can't credit the points; "as Classic Flight Rewards fares aren't eligible for earning". This is despite them having the receipt in front of them, clearly showing the cash payment!
So hard, for a handful of points and 20 SC's!

Flight from a points+pay booking credited today within 48 hours...

Just a thought - I had a similar issue a few months back but was sorted fast by emailing them directly and not using the Qantas logged in option of claiming missing points (unsure if you used that option or not). Also, found if I was a JetStar club member it was causing this issue as well, but unsure if this has been corrected or not yet.

Thank you for this. I am a Jetstar club member so it's interesting to hear that this may be an issue. Bit bizarre! I'm currently communicating with Qantas via e.mail. Actually, to be totally correct, I am attempting to communicate via e.mail as they have yet to reply to my last e.mail which included a screen shot of my booking, showing the fare paid and the class of travel, along with careful directions as to how to locate these pieces of information. Perhaps the careful directions have caused offence, but in all fairness, it's the second time I've sent them the screen shot.
I have the boarding passes showing I flew. I have the invoice for payment. I have the original booking confirmation showing the details of the booking. It was a return flight. Both legs identical. They happily credited points for one leg but not the other. It defies logic!! :(:(

I'm still awaiting SC/points for 3 flights that I took last year. I've submitted claims twice now and absolutely nothing has happened. I've emailed Qantas for a final time in order to let them know that I'll be seeking a refund in accordance to Australian consumer law if they don't fix this..

A refund for what exactly?
