Slow posting of QFF points and SCs after a JQ flight

Six weeks today since my flight.
I rang them last week on another matter and when mentioning this I was put through to the Philipines.
The said to wait X number of business days (forgotten how many now) but that that amount wasn’t up yet anyway.

I just rang them again now. Was put through to the Philipines and a helpful lady looked into it and then all of a sudden she had fixed it and the points/credits were showing in my account.

Very random!

My wife flew Surabaya-Singapore on JetStar on a codeshare QF flight number about a fortnight ago. No points or SCs a week or so later so I submitted an online claim. Next day they rejected the request due to the 'partner' rejecting the application. They quoted a link for us to check. So I opened up wife's FF account to find out what sort of ticket class she was booked on, to find that they had actually credited the points and SCs 2 days after the rejection!

Been gallivanting around Vietnam on Jetstar flights (JQ for SYD-SGN, BL for the domestic flights in Vietnam) over the last week and each flight has been posting QFF points and SCs in exactly 4 days after each flight. Just incase somebody needed a benchmark.

Does anyone have any recent experience with this? It's been 14 days since my flight and no SCs yet.

My most recent JQ flight that posted was 23 March. Later flights in March haven't yet posted. This is slower than the usual 8 days give or take.

It's still bad. I've got flights from early March that still haven't posted. Submitted claims exactly a month ago now but Frequent Flyer Service Centre has been mostly unhelpful, requesting copies of boarding passes etc and promising to fix it and call back but they never do.

I am also experiencing problems. I have three flights owing. Two in January and one in November. All flights had max bundles attached and one was a return leg of a flight that posted.

After lodging a claim, the flights eventually appeared on my account but with zero points and SC's. I objected and was asked for boarding passes and invoices which I duly supplied. The invoice states "Flight plus bundle". After a month or so, they got back to me and said that the flights taken were not entitled to points. I replied a few weeks ago explaining that a Max Bundle should provide points. I haven't heard anything back yet.

Seriously pathetic. As a platinum one, I don't really need the points at the moment and am only pursuing them as a matter of principle. I don't understand why they are being so obstructive. I can only think it's rank incompetence. A look at my history would show that I take a max bundle on every Jetstar flight as I travel with a box of equipment.

I've only had a couple of Jetstar flights this year and both have posted within a couple of days with correct SC and QFF points....

Hope what they fixed hasn't been broken again!

Escalate to VIP team?
It may come to that. At the moment I'm just letting the process take its course as it's not really a priority. P1 renewal is sorted so it's only the points.
We'll see.

I should add that I've had lots of JQ flights that have posted correctly and quite quickly. Why these three are different, I have no idea!

Are they Club Jetstar bookings by any chance? I recall there was an issue a couple of years ago where Club Jetstar fares were booking into a bucket which was non-earning with QFF.

That's interesting. Yes, they could well be Club Jetstar bookings. I'm fairly sure they would still have to be points earning though? The Max Bundle's come with a range of advertised benefits. Points and SC's being one of these.

Yes, you are still entitled to earn points and SC if a Max bundle is purchased. But it would explain why some of your flights are earning while others aren't if JQ has changed the fare buckets which Club Jetstar books into and not updated QFF on the change.

Here's some of the conversation relating to the issue previously: Slow posting of QFF points and SCs after a JQ flight

Thanks for that. Could well be the problem. Oh well, I'm not hurting for the points, so not going to expend too much effort just yet. I'm clearly entitled and have the paper-work to prove it. Happy to do them slowly!

FWIW I have had dozens of JQ flights that I've had to chase up for manual credit (and dozens more which posted fine). None were Club Jetstar.

Those that you chased up manually, did you you get knocked back? In the past I've had a small number that I chased manually but they just went through once I produced the boarding pass. Never before have had push back after providing BP and invoice.
