So... what car do you guys drive when not flying?

My Porsche needs a 12 month service too but its only done 1200k since the last so not too concerned. More a case of remembering to put the battery charger/conditioner on once a month or so.
Unfortunately my service is located over the border so I suppose it will have to wait for a while. Expecting to do an oil and filter change and biennial brake fluid flush.
Little black shopping trolley (WRX) has been having a forced rest too and will need a minimal interim service too at 47000km - 2400k in the last 12 months.
At least with this usage tyres last well.

taking the RR in on Wednesday, north side of town , fortunately the it's only 33 Klms so inside my 50 Klms maximum distance for non essential driving.

If you are on that Evanston Road you are not far from where a large water condenser operated around 1914 to supply water to the prospectors. As a young boy my father used to be paid to crawl into the boiler tubes to chip off the rust etc. He showed us the traces of it in 1992. The were still ashes, a depression in the salt pan and so forth.

Something like - Condensing | Western Australian Museum

I decided to get a spare and so far have only had to lend it to a favourite son once while his was in the shop from a parking hit. The person who did it left a note so that was nice.

The dealer. They had taken responsibility for it as it was on their property. TBH, they have been very good replacing things that were taken.
Which dealer, I may drop off my ute with 500kg of lead brick’s painted in a goldish colour ;) after the goldish items go missing and replaced with gold or the cash value I will gladly share the spoils :p

Getting around in a pretty new BMW X1 at the moment. It’s the replacement car while mine is getting repaired after it got dinged. The other driver is paying for it through Compass.

They normally stick you in the same make and close model to yours but no Audi available.

Not really loving the X1 though. Feels very heavy and touchy controls (like indicators) but like the higher ride than my Q2.
