So... what car do you guys drive when not flying?

All this fuss about a Fiat 500… sheesh.. they had air+bags in those days.. air for the driver when the car disintegrated upon colliding with almost anything.. and a bag for the drivers body….

Yes - someone in my car park has one... It's quite loud for a little box on wheels.

I am not sure, but presumably its one of the special edition ones.

Sorry - those pics scaled down terribly... presumably operator error :o

You can tell it's a British classic - look at the fit of the body panels and doors :)
Have you owned a BMC car, this is half the fun, I have owned MGs, Morris Minors, Minis, Leyland Minis and at one stage a Copper. There were always techniques to closing door, bonnets and boots or any other opening and closing part and to a lessor extent the switch’s be it toggle or rocker. These techniques were not to just protect from paint damage but to just make sure the locks and/ or the electric’s worked. My MGs and Mini's have gone, I still have a 48 and 28 Riley that have old school Brittish classic challenges ;):)

I owned a bug-eye Sprite for a while - well drove it less than I owned it really. Nuff said.

MissM now as her learners permit and as suspected the pressure is on to depart ways with my trusty 4x4 dual cab. I have gone down a path I had never really considered and today pre ordered a Mazda PHEV and requested the dealer put it into a build queue to arrive around Oct, I am in no great rush for it. By chance I came across the EV FBT exemption (leased vehicles) and the PHEV comes in substantially cheaper over the longer term than the 6 cylinder 3.3 turbo petrol I would have purchased and around $14k cheaper than the PHEV.

because:
His neighbours reported it to the Local council as it was stored on the road
and the council parking rangers would send him a fine if it wasn't moved

Now the real "why" is still not answered because it's a piece of junk. Though there is no rust* which is very surprising for a British car.....
