Slightly OT but for those that like the music of The Boss, I watched a good little movie last night called Blinded by the Light.

Yea it's an ok movie! From the similar socio-economic tales stable as Bend it Like Beckham I though but with Bruce. (Actually I prefer the Manfred Mann version of BBTL!)

One of mrsdrron's FB friends posted a video from the Essex sausage and Cider festival.immediately caught my attention and for a short while it made it on to my bucket list.That was until I discovered it was music festival for tribute bands.But the one on the link I found to be very good.They have even performed at the Edinburgh tattoo.Here was the piece linked.

It's one of those nights where you grab a bottle of red (or two) and go back to a time when you were 18/19/20. You got home on payday just in time to shower, change and go back to work after spending the night at The Loft, The Persian Room or some similar place.
A night out in Funky Town. There was certainly no time to take your Rose Royce to the Car Wash.
I think some nights I set the place on fire. It was a Disco Inferno!
Think Silver Convention, Boney M, Donna Summer, Giorgio, Earth Wind and Fire et al.
Those were the days.
