Second bulkhead row in J used to be available even when flights were just reserved (not yet ticketed). SQ removed that option first and soon after blocked bulkhead all together.

From above I have somehow become my parents TA, they transfer points to my account and I make the bookings. Sometimes they have the required points but more often than not they don't, I just cover shortfall or book them revenue fare and not mention it.What a lovely dad!

Is your brother older or younger than you as I have one of theseI'm booked to fly with my parents, brother and his partner in long-haul J later this year - none have ever flown better than economy. I can't wait to see the look on their faces, I was hoping to keep it a surprise but unfortunately my brother noticed the seat allocations on his FF account and spilt the beans!
I wish I could do the same for my in-laws but they are into the JAL Global Club scene and have even gone to the extent of doing a FOP (status) run!

I got acknowledgement emails that they received my refund request. They also said waiting time is 15 business days. It’s been 20 business days now. Am I being unreasonably impatient? I want to follow up, but I am not sure what is the best way to do it? Any advice?

Took your advice and had a fabulous flight with lots of champagne. Dad got flights for me and my fiancé Ollie who has never travelled business before and is beside himself with excitement. He tried a few coughtails on the plane, and now off for a shower before the next leg. Not sure he’ll be able to adjust back to economy after this experience!Hey Risotto - long time no talk

It's not possible on a redemption even at checkin. Have to keep your KF. If you are in Y should be able to use card for any relevant lounge accessI have a redemption booking on SQ using Krisflyer points (but no status on Krisflyer). How do I change my frequent flyer details to my VA number (Velocity WP)? It does not seem possible through the "manage my booking" function on the website, it only allows for SQ/Krisflyer numbers to be entered in the relevant field in passenger details. Thanks in advance for any guidance.
